What is Faith in Action?

Faith in Action is an interfaith volunteer caregiving initiative of The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Local Faith in Action programs bring together volunteers from many faiths to work together to care for their neighbors who have long-term health needs.

What is the Mission?

The mission of Faith In Action is to provide spiritual/emotional support and friendly assistance to help seniors keep their dignity and quality of life while living independently.


What are the Benefits to our Senior Friends?
Assistance to remain living independently. Receive spiritual/emotional support and practical assistance while living independently. Make long-time friendships that offer companionship & support.

What are the Benefits to our Volunteer Friends?
Contributing to your community by being a good neighbor. Enabling Seniors to remain in their own homes, living independently for as long as possible. Making new friends while providing support.
