CADV

The CADV (Committee Against Domestic Violence) needs a few more good men and women. Retirement and relocation have emptied several seats and this is a nice opportunity for volunteers. Our mission is to raise awareness of domestic violence in our community, support the Domestic Violence Program, planning of the annual October Candlelight Ceremony and sponsor an evening meal with entertainment at Mother's Day and Christmas times for the program clients. Imagine being away from your home at Christmas! This gives US great pleasure and helps our clients be hopeful for better times ahead.  We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 5:00 p.m. If this is something that sounds interesting to you, please call Teri Ducy at 428-6616.
