Shelby County Domestic Violence Program Candlelighting Ceremony

Dove invites you to join us for our 20th Annual Candlelighting Ceremony, “better together”
which takes place in October as part of  Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  The ceremony will be held on Thursday, October 8, 7:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church, 108 S. Oak Street, Shelbyville.

We will gather for a service to remember victims of domestic violence and to celebrate the survivors and those who work to end abuse.  The evening will include remarks, lighting of  candles to honor both survivors and victims of this heinous crime and to acknowledge Dove’s 50th Anniversary.

We will observe social distancing and wearing of masks.
